The Beetle was redesigned for 2012, but Volkswagen isn't done yet. At the Frankfurt Motor Show they unveiled a new R concept which is heavily influenced by the redesigned Beetle.

There are some features, like the front and rear bumpers, which have been extended, that really highlight the unique design of the Beetle R concept. Air intakes have also been added to the bumpers to cool brakes...
